Portfolio: Flannel Zen

I've decided that I want to document the more unique items that drift through through my shop, so I'm sure this is the first of many portfolio posts to come.

I love making my framed boards, but wanted to expand my offering with something simpler and a little more cost friendly.

Enter Flannel Zen. The pink was my prototype for testing the waters in my shop, and just sold tonight. The green is a larger mat (about 16" x 18") that was made as a custom order for a teacher who wanted a good sized play surface that doesn't consume shelf space. Both are going out in tomorrow's mail.

Watch for the kiwi bird to show up again in future creations- we got to be good buddies while he was here, and I'm a little sad to see him go.
